TOP 3 EXOTIC LOCATIONS FOR YOUR PRE-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT IN CHENNAI

Pre-Wedding photoshoots are the best ways to bond as a couple and lose your inhibitions with each other, if your wedding has been arranged by your parents. It is also the perfect way to get fabulous photographs for your Save-the-Date invites to your friends and family who may need to plan well in advance to attend your wedding from afar. Of course, you would also want all those friends on social media to be happy for you and join you in your celebration of your love. How better to do that than with spectacular pictures of the two of you in spectacular and scenic locations? Here, in India, you will be surprised how easily you can find the most exotic of locations right outside your doorstep, so to speak. So, if you live in and around Chennai, here are three unparalleled, unique and ideal locations for your pre-wedding photoshoot in and around the busy city…

1. Huddleston Gardens – Theosophical Society, Adyar

Just imagine yourself holding hands with the love of your life and walking in the midst of lush green mahogany, the melodious sounds of beautiful birds, under the roots of a 450-year old big banyan tree, an old church and pristine waters of a river gushing by. These exquisite gardens lie on the southern banks of the river Adyar in Adyar, Chennai, covering an expanse of 260 acres! An ideal place for your evergreen photoshoot to capture candid photos of your love amidst nature and history.

2. Alamparai Fort

I love doing my client photoshoots during sunset as it creates spectacular effects. What better location to do that than between broken remains of an old fort overlooking the vast expanse of sea? I can just see it in front of my eyes, that exquisite scene… The silhouette of an intimate couple with the wind blowing in their hair, dancing amidst the remains of history, ready to create their own history, the bay behind them with the crashing waves sparking golden in the setting sun and soft sand sprinkling from her toes as he lifts her up. Alamparai fort is the ideal place for intimate couple photoshoots, secluded and rarely visited. It will also serve as your perfect first holiday as an engaged couple! Boating in the scenic backwaters would not just be fun and romantic, but also serve as a perfect shot for my camera to capture candidly. Say cheese!

3. Mahabalipuram

A wedding is a sacred affair, won’t you agree? Being in Chennai, you obviously know Mahabalipuram, but what I see is how beautiful you and your spouse would look sitting amongst those beautifully carved stone sculptures depicting love and war, oh all so fair. Let the gods shower their blessings over you as you bask in their glory and grandeur and keep those blessings with you forever as photographic memories. The rocky landscape and intricate carvings make for gorgeous shots as the light is reflected at different angles or peeps from behind like a halo as you lean in the arms of your lover against a rock. What’s more? There are some secluded beaches in the vicinity too, so you can get your beach photoshoot in as a bonus!
